Essential Information Regarding the Conduct of the D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Examination, 2026 for Admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course for the 2026-2028 Session.
In light of the revised Joint Entrance Examination prospectus (Session 2026-28) received vide letter no. 12/Misc-11/2016-4078, dated 03.12.2025, from the Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training, Education Department, Bihar, it is informed to all interested candidates/all District Education Officers and other concerned parties wishing to appear in the D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Examination, 2026 for the 2026-28 session, that the D.El.Ed.

Joint Entrance Examination, 2026 (online) is proposed to be conducted for selection for admission against the total sanctioned seats in all government/non-government training institutes recognized by NCTE and affiliated with the Bihar School Examination Board.
Online applications for the said entrance examination are invited from December 11, 2025, to December 24, 2025. Based on the merit list of successful candidates and their preference (Merit-Cum-Choice), institutes will be allotted, for which a separate notification will be published by the committee.
